The program started in 2017 as a Google-sponsored initiative to bring free coding classes to 3,000 young Singaporeans from less well-to-do backgrounds. Since 2017, we’ve worked with volunteers to get even more Singaporean kids excited about the potential of technology, and unlock their natural learning abilities.
Classes are held at various community centres and public libraries around Singapore
Children are from low-income families and are beneficiaries of the 4 self-help groups, or on the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) , amongst others.
